Share the Love is a celebrative event of music and entertainment aimed at drawing attention to the fact that gay, lesbian and transgender citizens have yet to enjoy the legal and spiritual privileges of memorializing their
mutual love through the sacred vows of marriage.  Our intention is to raise awareness as well as financial support to those who work tirelessly to ensure equal rights for all, regardless of gender.  We are saddened and incensed that our society still does not recognize and celebrate the love between two people of the same sex as it does between a man and a woman.  It is our mission to make equal marriage rights not a gender issue, but one of humanity.  We believe in love¹s all-embracing power to be inclusive of every expression of life, and we invite others to join their voices with ours in claiming the celebration of love to be a universally-shared experience.  We encourage those who share our vision to stage their own events in their respective cities, to engage, inspire, inform and celebrate in the name of love.  We will gladly lend a hand to anyone interested in hosting similar events across the country and will continue to rally until same-sex marriages are recognized as equal in the eyes of the law and of society. Love is greater than all of us combined and deserves to be honored and celebrated at every instance it shines forth.  If you feel that this incredible power of love is meant to be expressed by all people equally, stand with us and say, "I do."
